History

Eric Musgrove

Eric has been training racehorses since 1981 and came from a professional show jumping background.
He was the first Australian jumping trainer to reach 400 wins – August 2002.
He has won the most jumping races of any trainer in history.

In 2003 he was inaugurated into the AJRA/VRC Racing Gallery of Champions.
Eric has been the leading Australasian jumping trainer for the last 22 years; each year achieving the most amount of wins for the season in Australia.
He was the leading metropolitan jumping trainer on 14 occasions.

Eric has developed a magnificent training complex at Coronet Bay called Karasi Park near Phillip Island. Karasi Park has 217 undulating acres which faces and has direct access to the beach from the property.

His training facilities include 2100m track and 1000m uphill gallop, plus other tracks on the property which is just the start of the benefits of this amazing property. The property has a 50m straight swimming pool, 10 horse walker and large indoor boxes with verandah for each horse. Each horse has its own ¼ acre grass post and rail grass yard to spend a few hours in during the day after exercise.
